George Taylor, 70 from Burlington Ks, passed  away on February 19th at his home surrounded by family and friends.
George is the son of Donald and Deloris Taylor ( Huff) .  He was born June 18th 1953 in Highmore South Dakota .
George has been a part of the COF family for 25 plus years. He also worked at Pizza Hut and Beto junction. While at COF he had many roles. To name a few of his favorites. George ran the can crusher, wrapped all the skids, and got all orders ready to be loaded into the trucks. He also was the go-to guy for all large shipments being delivered. He was ready to work hard as soon as the doors would open.
George loved being outdoors, spending time with his sister, going on any and all adventures with his friends. George really enjoyed going to church at Burlington Baptist, fishing, Humbolt Races, camping, cookouts, riding (crashing) go-karts, but most of all attending Special Olympics.
Goerge is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Deloris.
George is survived by his brother Vernie Taylor of Burlington KS,  Sister Mary Soto ( Pete) of Dodge City KS,  Nephew Kory Taylor ( Carolyn) of DeMoines Iowa,  Justin Taylor of Dodge City KS, Monica Wright ( Patrick) of Portland TX,  as well as 6 great niece and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Coffey County Cancer Support Group and may be sent in care of Jones Funeral Home.
