Gary Lee Diver, 74, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Burlington, Kansas.

Gary was born on August 29, 1952, in Colony, Kansas, to Delbert and Marilyn Diver. He grew up in El Dorado, where he graduated from high school. He went on to earn an associate degree from Pittsburg State University.

Gary lived in El Dorado for most of his life and worked as a pipeline operator for most of his career. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Daniel Diver (Glenda), Michael Diver (Megan), Barrett Diver (Tessie), Hannah Swinson (Travis), Cory Souter, Joel Diver, and Ian Diver (Paige); 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his brother, Joseph Diver; and his sister, Marcia Jones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Marilyn Diver.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 16, 2026, at the Toronto Cowboy Church in Toronto, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Gary Diver Memorial Fund that will benefit his grandchildren. Gary would’ve wanted any donation to go directly to his grandchildren as they were his pride and joy. Contributions may be sent to Campbell Funeral Home at PO Box 188, Yates Center, KS 66783.
