Gail Wesley Hoch, 91, of Burlington, Kansas, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, at his home.

He was born September 12, 1928, near Hartford, Kansas, seventh of the nine children of Orme and Rose (Zimmerman) Hoch.

Gail and Donna Hawkins Allen were married on November 9, 1986, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Alice Malik, Wilma Baker, Esther Hoyt, Evelyn DeForest, Wayne Hoch, Nelva Unruh, and Phillip Hoch.

He leaves his wife, Donna, of the home; three sons, David Hoch and wife Linda of Burlington, Rodney Hoch and wife Norma of Osage City, KS, and Michael Hoch and wife Barbara of Burlington; two daughters, Galyn Meier and husband Charlie, and Darla Dees and husband Dave, all of New Strawn, KS; a step-daughter, Beth Pratt and husband Darryl of Granbury, TX, and Mark Allen and wife Michelle of Burlington; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Hoch and wife Donna of Raymore, MO; numerous nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.

Cremation is planned.
