Floyd Calvin Cole, 63, Burlington, died on July 23, 2018, at the Coffey County Hospital.

Floyd was born on November 22, 1954, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, to William Troy and Juanita Pugh Cole.

Floyd grew up in Sapulpa and moved to Burlington in the late 1970's. He worked for Tricon Industries, then Andrew's Construction, in Burlington. Also, he worked for I.B.P in Emporia and had worked in construction.

On June 2, 1989, he was united in marriage to Barbara Ellen Blacketer at Trinity Lutheran Church and they made their home in Burlington.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jerry, and a sister, Jean.

Floyd is survived by his wife, Barbara, of the home, three sisters, Helen Grimm, Garber, Ok, Evelyn Petroski, Tulsa, OK, and Gloria Mae House, Garber, OK, and a nephew, Bobby Ranney, Burlington, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Burlington.

The family and friends will gather at the Church for visitation following services.
