Elladean Atherly, 97, of Topeka, Kansas passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at The Gardens of Aldersgate Nursing home in Topeka.

She was born July 19, 1926, in Emporia KS, to Charles Thomas Herzog and Agnes May (Lawson) Herzog.

She graduated from Emporia High School in 1944.

She married Kenneth Dean Atherly on May 15, 1949, in Emporia, KS. They spent 48 years together before Kenneth passed away on February 9, 1998.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, her parents, and her Siblings.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am. On Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Graceland Cemetery.
