Elena Maria Robertson, 62, LeRoy, passed away in her sleep on June 22, 2026, at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita. Elena was born on August 9, 1963, in Emporia, to Wayne Farmer Sr. and Ramona Farmer. She attended LeRoy schools and graduated from LeRoy High School in 1981. After graduating, she went on to pursue a nursing career. She attended Wichita State for a short time before entering the Flint Hills VoTech nursing program. She graduated with her LPN license. She worked as a nurse for over 30 years before retiring. Through her nursing career, she was employed at Vintage Manor in Emporia for many years before moving to Burlington and became employed at Life Care Center. Through this job and her nursing career, she found joy.

On August 12, 1989, Elena married the love of her life, Roy "Rocky" Robertson. They shared 36 years of marriage. They became the parents of two daughters, Cynthia Robertson and Rachelle Robertson. She also had three stepchildren, Amanda, Rob, and Danny. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandma, aunt and friend.

She had a heart of gold and smile that could light up a room. She touched many lives.

Elena was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Sr.; brother, Wayne Jr.; sisters, Sherry Willis, Tonya Voorhees; and stepson, Rob Robertson.

She is survived by her mother, Ramona; husband, Rocky; sister, Rose Chambers; children, Amanda, Danny, Cynthia, Rachelle; grandchildren, Gabriel, Khyla, Berkley, Emjay, Logan, Jubilee, Jude, Julie, Will, Tyler, Madison, Natalie, Patience; nieces and nephews; and many great grandchildren in which she loved.

Elena loved camping, fishing and being outdoors. Growing up she enjoyed dirt biking, hunting, golfing with her uncles and dad, and living her best life.

She will be loved and missed by everyone who knew her.

Memorial service will be Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. Services will be held at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington. Family and friends will start gathering at 12:30 p.m. until service begins.
