Doris Vera Kirk, 93, Council Bluffs, Iowa, formerly of Burlington, died on March 21, 2021.

Doris was born on March 3, 1928 in Strawn, Kansas to William and Merle Hamman Ray.

Doris attended Strawn Grade School and graduated from Burlington High School in 1946.

On June 2, 1946, she married Carl Hart. They were the parents of a daughter and two sons. Carl died in 1972. In 1975, she married A.C. Kirk. A.C. died in 1989.

Doris was a bookkeeper and homemaker. She was a member of the Burlington Christian Church.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, an infant son, Robert Hart, and her brother, Robert Ray.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Pamela Leidy, Council Bluffs, Iowa, her son William Hart, Drumright, Oklahoma, a sister Lila Zscheile, Burlington, Kansas, 3 grandchildren, Amy Bradshaw, and Carl and Emily Hart, 2 great grandchildren, Reagan and Ryan Bradshaw, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside Services were held March 26, 2021 at Graceland Cemetery.
