Donna Marie Byerley, 66, Yates Center, formerly Gridley, died on September 16, 2020 at her apartment in Yates Center.

Donna was born on October 5, 1953 in Ulysses, Kansas to Donald and Pattie Roweth Wilson.

She attended the Yates Center High School and then went on to the Newman's School of Nursing in Emporia. She received her master's degree from the University of Phoenix. She had worked as a RN until her retirement.

She was a member of the Eastern Star.

Donna was preceded in death by her father, Donald, two children, Dustin LaCrone and Charity Smith, and one grandchild.

She is survived by her mother, Pattie, Yates Center, a daughter, Miranda (Chris) Stark, Mertzon, Texas, a son Paul Heape, El Dorado, two brothers, Robert and Charles Wilson, Yates Center, a sister, Teresa Miller, Hewitt, Texas, 8 grandchildren, Shandell (Aaron) Skillman, New Strawn, Shaniah Stark, Westmorland, Sharea Stark, Carbondale, Taylor LaCrone, Thayer, Dawson Smith, Yates Center, Dakaota Heape, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Chase Heape, Burlington, Kaitlyn Heape, Moran, and , 7 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday September 20, 2020 from 3:30PM-4:30PM at the Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center. Graveside Services will be at 10:30 A.M., Monday, September 21, 2020, at the Yates Center Cemetery.
