Donald Eugene Wilcox, Jr., 64, of Olivet, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at his home.

Don was born July 28, 1957, at Spearman, TX. He was adopted by Don and Sylvia Wilcox. He started working at the B.E.T.O. Junction Truck Stop at the age of 19. He was still employed there at the time of his death.

Don is survived by his wife, Shirley Wilcox; his 3 daughters, Sara Wilcox and Kim Wilcox of Burlington, KS, and Heather Russell of West Plains, MO; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Dan Wilcox, Paul Mingus, Linda Laven, Michael Chasteen, and Velma Mingus.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Warren Sturgeon, Francis Pond, Jon Dill, Judy Garrison, and Corine Cliff.

He will be dearly missed.

A memorial services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 7, 2022, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Burlington.
