Debra Kay Dryer, 68, Springfield, died January 29, 2020, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Debra was born on March 30, 1951 in Emporia, to Sylvan Lewis and Helen Evelyn (Reed) Bahr.

She graduated from Gridley High School in 1969. She then graduated from the Kansas State Teacher's College in Emporia in 1973 with a teaching degree. After graduation she taught school for a few years then worked as an Over the Road Truck Driver for the next 40 years.

Debra married Vernon Lee Dryer in Oklahoma. He died on August 29, 2013.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Butch.

Debra is survived by her sisters, Ann (Robert) Schwermann of Olathe, KS, Janet Kemp of Raytown, Mo, Mary (Bill) Bowen of LeRoy, KS, and Judy (Dick) Arthur of Emporia, KS; her brothers, Leon (Carolyn) Bahr of Madison, KS, and Robert (Debi) Bahr of LeRoy, KS;  her sister-in-law, Melody Bahr, Rochester, MN; many other relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 1, 2020, at the Gridley Apostolic Christian Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M., at the funeral home, before leaving for the cemetery.
