David Patrick Noonan, 58, of Burlington, Kansas, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.

David was born March 10, 1961, in Emporia, KS, the son of Floyd and Beverly (Fischer) Noonan.

He was a life-long resident of the Burlington area and graduated from Burlington High School in 1979. He was employed by the Coffey County Road and Bridge Dept. for over 10 years but the majority of his life was devoted to his love of baling hay, farming, and raising cattle. He loved farm life and worked hard at it.

David and Pamela Fry were married August 31, 1991, in Burlington.

He was a member of the Kansas Livestock Assoc. and he and Pam were awarded the Kansas Banker's Association Award in 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Duane Noonan.

He leaves his wife, Pam; his children, Tony Noonan (Kristi) of Burlington and Theresa Hazen (Chad) of Burlington; grandchildren, Tanner, Katy, and Tucker Noonan, Dilan and Delani Nichols, and Emmett, Cohen, Oliver, and Brant Hazen; his brothers and sisters, Julie Bull (Jim), Carol Bartlett (Ted), Dennis Noonan (Debbie), Karen Isbell (Lonnie), all of Burlington, Daniel Noonan (Rachel) of Wisconsin, Cathy Barrett (Jim) of Eureka, KS, and twins Darrin Noonan (Shelly) of Missouri and Darcie Noonan of Omaha, NE; his mother-in-law, Rose Fry of Westphalia, KS;  numerous nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, June 24, 2019, at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Burlington.

The family will meet with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
