Darrel Duane "Rocky" Langley, 87, of Jacobs Creek in Coffey County, Kansas, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, at his home.

Rocky was born November 5, 1935, at Pawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Ed and Ethel (Grote) Langley. He graduated from high school and served in the U.S. Air Force.

He and Maria L Flesch were married and they became the parents of a son, John.

Rocky worked as an electrician and in maintenance at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, until his retirement. He and Maria later moved to the Jacobs Creek Community in Coffey County, Kansas.

He leaves his wife Maria; his son, John Langley, of Jacobs Creek; 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dale Langley, Stillwater, OK.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Baker Cemetery west of Burlington, KS.
