Danny Ray Turner, Passed away September 14, 2025 at the age of 76, at the Coffey County Hospital in Burlington, Ks.

Danny was born March 11, 1949, in Los Angeles, CA, to Raymond Louis Turner and Mary Flossie Marie Toll. He graduated from Norwalk, CA. After graduating High School, he answered the call of Duty and enlisted in the US Navy from November 1968 to September 1970 and served a tour of duty in Vietnam and Korea on the USS Constellation.

He married Jo Ann Bentley on Feb 7, 1969.

He worked for Hughes Aircraft and Raytheon for 33 years. Danny and his family relocated to Burlington, Ks in 2003. As a young boy he was a member of the Boy Scouts and he earned Eagle Scout Honor. Danny had a passion for collecting tools and working with his hands. He loved to camp and fish.

Danny loved his family and worked hard to provide for them. He really loved to build things and took great pride in his work. He had a heart of gold and was a true patriot and loved his country and our country's flag.

Danny was predeceased by his Father Ray, Mother Marie, Sisters Donna Bouskill and Carol Shay, and Brother Mike Turner.

He is survived by his wife Joann, Sons, James and Michael all from Burlington, Ks. He also leaves behind his Brother Chuck (Diana) Turner, Grants Pass, Oregon, Sister in Laws, Ruby (Terry) Trapletti, Torrance, CA, Shirley Pennington, Burlington, Ks, Linda Aubry, Burlington, Ks, Marilyn Bentley, Burlington, Ks, Joyce Galan, Wichita, Ks, Debbie Hamlin, Holton, Ks. In addition of many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Graceland Cemetery at Burlington.

The family will meet with friends from 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington until proceeding to the cemetery.
