Daniel Edward "Boomer" Link, 63, of Yates Center, Kansas, passed away at home on Saturday, October 13, 2018.  Boomer was born March 26th, 1955, in Iola, Kansas, the second son of Edward  and Helen (Sherwood) Link.

Boomer grew up on the family farm located east of Yates Center.  He graduated from Yates Center High.  After high school he remained in the Yates Center area working as an over the road truck driver.  Boomer also spent 10 years working for the city of Yates Center. Boomer was a very fun loving individual always looking for a new adventure.  He enjoyed collecting and shooting guns, hunting, fishing and carpentry.

Boomer is preceded in death by his parents, a great-niece, Gracelyn Gangle, and great-nephew Tyler Bain.

Boomer leaves two sisters, Donna Hawley of Iola, KS, and Debbie Link of Chanute, Ks, and a brother Robert "Buck" Link of Yates Center, Ks.  Boomer is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  Boomer was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Cremation is planned. No services are scheduled.
