Daniel Lynn "Danny" Harris died on January 16, 2021 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka.

Danny was born on April 1, 1986 in Emporia, to Michael and Niki McCormick Harris.

Danny graduated from Burlington High School and then went to Flint Hills Technical College in Emporia where he got an associate certificate as a Computer Numerical Control Machinist in 2007.

On June 14, 2014, Danny married Heidi Hinterweger at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Burlington and they began their lives together in Burlington, KS where they were blessed with one child.  Landon Andrew was born on August 30, 2016.

He had been employed as an assistant pharmacy tech at the Medicine Shoppe in Burlington for several years.  He was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.

Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Niki and a brother, Darin.

He is leaves his wife, Heidi, and son, Landon, Burlington, his father, Michael Harris, Emporia, a sister, Darcie Hegwald, Burlington, two brothers, Dustin Harris, Burlington and Derek Harris, Lawrence, father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Jan Hinterweger, Lebo, two sisters-in-law Crystal Bettinger and husband Nathan, Topeka and Kayla Boyd, Emporia, and a brother-in-law Kyle Hinterweger and wife Kim, New Strawn and as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Cremation is planned.  There will be a private family memorial service. A come and go public visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home, Burlington.
