Dale Dean Nordmeyer, 78, of rural Toronto, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

He was born June 28, 1940, the son of William H. and Elsie (Liebau) Nordmeyer.

Dale worked as a carpenter for several years before retiring to the family farm where he had cattle and did some farming.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Iva Jean; and a brother, Willie.

Survivors include his brother, John (Karen) of Eureka, and Ray and Harry (Yvonne) of Toronto; nephews, Jerry Nordmeyer of August, Barney Nordmeyer of Eureka, and Jay Nordmeyer of Olpe; nieces, Janis Evenson of Wichita, Nancy Nordmeyer of Madison-Olpe, Julie Bilson and Michele Johnson of Eureka, Marcy Nordmeyer of Kansas City, and Mindy Mrabet of Wichita.

Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held 1:30 P.M. Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center.
