Constance "Connie" Sue Sherwin, 77, Gridley, KS passed away December 27, 2022.

She was born January 14, 1945, in Emporia, KS, the daughter of Robert and Betty Worcester. She graduated from Emporia High School and Attended K-State University. Later in life Connie earned her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Connie married Mike Sherwin July 14, 1991. They enjoyed traveling and making their home in Gridley, KS. Connie loved the outdoors, gardening, bird watching and fishing. She was known best as "Ma Connie" by family and friends. The most important thing to her was her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Jeffery Scott (Beth) O'Mara of Lansing. Lori (Rodney) Johnson of Gridley. grandchildren, Cody and Cailin O'Mara, Ashley, Brier and Callie Johnson, great-grandchildren Bryn and Perry Johnson and Lexi and Kaylee O'Mara. She was Preceded in death by her parents, husband, her siblings Linda Lamb and JoAnn Williamson, and Grandson Connor O'Mara.

Funeral services are Monday January 2, 2023, at 10:30 am at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington, KS. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Buck Foundation and may be sent in care of Jones Funeral Home, PO Box 277, Burlington, KS 66839.
