Connie Jean Francis, 73, LeRoy, Kansas, passed away early Friday, August 5, 2022, peacefully in the comfort of her home.

Connie was born June 15, 1949, in LeRoy, to Bill and LaVera Walker Corbin.

Connie grew up in LeRoy and was abundantly loved and cherished in the community. She loved her family and friends, and was an amazing wife, mom, grandmom, nana, and sister. She loved going to the Piqua dances on Saturday night, and of course wouldn't leave until she heard Lynard Skynard's, "Sweet Home Alabama".

Connie married Harvey Francis on March 3, 2006 in Las Vegas.

She was preceded by her loving parents, an adored son Alan Whiteley and a sister, Linda Ulses.

Connie leaves her husband, Harvey of the home, a daughter, Lesa Whiteley, Arizona, a son, Jared and Karen Whiteley, Ottawa, daughter, Barbie and Steve Black, Colorado, and a daughter, Becky and Donnie Loveall, Georgia, sister Mary Luney, Burlington, her grandchildren, Allan and Seth Harper, Ramsey Whiteley Gann, Abigail and Jackson Martin, Alicia Kingery, Andrea Quinones, Shelby Thompson, Ryan Criswald, Zach Roush, Jacob Whiteley, and Brytni Spencer, 11 great grandchildren, and numerous "adopted" grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Connie didn't know a stranger and loved to help others at any given moment. Connie was a beautiful person inside and out and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

There will be a Visitation on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Jones Funeral Home, Burlington from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., with a graveside following at the Logue Cemetery, LeRoy.
