Clinton G. Everson, 79, of LeRoy, passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2019 at Coffey County Hospital.

Clinton was born in Walker, Missouri, the son of Russell Cornelius and Velma June (Wallace) Everson. When he was young, Clinton joined the Navy for a short time. He later worked with his dad in Ottawa as a plumber, then drove a mail truck semi in Salina. He also worked for Fashion Inc. welding in Ottawa before retiring due to health reasons. He loved fishing and watching sports on television. He lived with his step-daughter Kathy in LeRoy for the last 13 years of his life.

Clinton was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Stephen Everson; a daughter, Vanessa Kay Everson Weatherby; and a brother, Danny Everson.

He is survived by his daughter, Robin Denis of Monet, MO; and two step-daughters, Kathy Barber and Teri Mitchell, both of Leroy; two brothers, Donald G. Walker of Baldwin, James R. Everson of Lawrence; six grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Cremation is planned. The family will hold a celebration of life on July 2 ^nd at 11 a.m. at 88 W 6th St., LeRoy. Contact Kathy Barber for details 785-418-5661.
