Clifford James Reser age 91, of Yates Center, Kansas passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022, at Yates Center Health and Rehab.

Clifford was born November 5, 1930, in Nobel, MO, the son of Ray and Grace (Newberry) Reser.

He worked for several years for his brother-in-law at a gas station after which he acquired the Philips 66 station. Later he worked for Bird & Hanley Oil, then worked at Woodson County Transfer Station.

On November 13, 1948, Clifford married Dolores Ellen (Beary) Reser at the First General Baptist Church, in Ava, MO. They were blessed with three children, Connie, Vicky and Barry. They adopted five great-grandchildren, Dylan, Kaitlyn, Austin, Makayla, and Hannah.

Clifford was Preceded in death by his father, mother, and stepmother, Pearl; a daughter, Connie; a great-grandson, Austin; four brothers & sisters, Willard, Eldon, Alvin & Maymi; and three half-brothers, Billy, Ronald and Gary.

Clifford is survived by one half-brother, Jimmy; three half-sisters, Linda, Barbara & Shirley; eight grandchildren, Scott, Cami, April, Lacie, Valicia, Clancie, Jamie, and Gretchen; and several great-grandchildren.

A private family graveside will be held at Yates Center Cemetery.
