Christopher Hale Coffman February 6, 1973 – July 6, 2025

He was born on February 6, 1973, in Springfield, Missouri. His parents were Donald Ray Coffman and Marsha Sue (McGinty) Coffman. He passed away on July 6, 2025, at age 52.

Christopher graduated from Yates Center High School in 1991 and went on to earn his bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from Pittsburg State University. Throughout his life, he worked as both a network engineer and a construction project manager.

Outside of work, Christopher found joy in life's simple pleasures. He had a deep love of music, especially playing guitar and singing with his family. He was happiest with a fishing rod in hand, on a golf course, tossing discs at the park, or grilling for loved ones. His laughter, music, and warmth filled every space he was in. Christopher was known for his quiet strength, generous heart, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved. He was also known for his extreme courage and bravery as he fought many battles with cancer throughout his life and was able to overcome them.

He now rests peacefully with his father Don Coffman.

He leaves behind with love his mother, Marsha Coffman; his brother, Stephen Coffman; and his three beloved children, Layla, Ethan, and Kai. Chris was a devoted son, a caring brother, and a proud father. His love for his family was constant and deeply felt.

He will be missed every day by his friends and family who cared for him.

The family will meet with friends and loved ones on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the Yates Center United Methodist Church and afterwards the memorial service will begin at 3:00 P.M.

The family will celebrate the life of Chris with food and beverages at the Woodson County 4-H Community Building located at 711 S Fry St, Yates Center, KS 66783 after the memorial service.
