Cheryl L (Gucene) Walton, 72, of Yates Center, KS, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023.

She was born August 9, 1950, to Ernest and Ann (Evans) Gucene of Yates Center; where Cheryl grew up and graduated from YCHS in 1968.  She retired from Russell Stover Chocolates in August of 2021 after 24 years of service. She made many great friends in her time there.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and sister Sheila (Gucene) Clarke.

She is survived by daughter Jennifer Walton of Salina, KS;  son Jim Walton and wife Marci of Benton, KS.  Cherished by her grandchildren Tyler, Brittney, Colton, Jayden and Brynna.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday March 4, 2023, at the gazebo at Yates Center Cemetery.
