Carroll Edward Leatherman, 84, Burlington, died at his home on Tuesday, October 6, 2020.

Carroll was born on May 12, 1936 at Burlington to Jesse L. and Coryl B. Hamilton Leatherman.

On June 12, 1960, he married Nadine L. Rudolph in Lebo. They were the parents of five daughters and a son. Nadine died on August 12, 2018.

Carroll had worked as a farmer, hauled water, a carpenter, and a school bus driver. He had been a member of the National Guard. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Burlington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Marie Beine and Audrey Hegg, and a brother, Jesse D. Leatherman.

Carroll is survived by his daughters, Brenda (Troy) Holloway, Grantville, GA, Marilyn (Randy) Gesling, New Strawn, Anne Brown, Burlington, Carol (Chuck) Mahon, DeSoto, and Sharon (Benjamin) Campbell, McPherson, a son, Gary Leatherman, McCall, ID, two sisters, Doris Terrell, Burlington and Mary Lou Kimball, Toronto, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be on Friday, October 23, 2020, at 10:30 A.M., at the Jones Funeral Home, Burlington. Contributions can be made to the First Assembly of God and may be sent in care of Jones Funeral Home, P.O. Box 277, Burlington, KS 66839.
