Betty Louise Decker, 86, Burlington, died on Monday morning, October 12, 2020, at the Sunset Manor in Waverly.

Betty was born on July 25, 1934 in Burlington, to Otis and Maude Clay  Rohr.

Besides Burlington, Betty had lived in Coffeyville, Bakersfield, California, and Colorado.

On December 28, 1953, she married Lester E. Decker at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Burlington. Lester died on November 18, 2016.

Betty was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. In her life she had worked at the Courthouse, Huff's Gardens, as a Teacher's aide, and at Cooksey's Drug Store.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lester, her son, Martin, her son in law, Joe Gray, her sister, LeEtta Sobba, her brother, Lester Rohr , and a brother in law, John Deitrich Jr.

Betty is survived by her two daughters, Virginia "Ginger" Mefford and her husband David, Vicki Gray and Dennis Brown, her sons, Tim Decker and Kristin Smith, and Philip Decker and his wife Bonnie, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a sister, Phyllis Deitrich, a sister in law, Marjorie Rohr, and a brother in law, Donald Sobba, all of Burlington, other relatives and friends.

There will be a Rosary at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 15, 2020, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M., at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Burlington. Betty will lie in state on Wednesday, 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Contributions can be made to either, Coffey County Cancer Support Group, the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, or Sunset Manor, and may be sent in care of Jones Funeral Home, P.O.
